another feather shot...

the thing that made this photo kinda special to me was the process... I had found a feather and wanted to try and set it somewhere for a shot when the wind took it from my hand and pinned it against this nearby bush. it stayed there for a good 10 seconds or so (strong wind) and I managed to steal an image

exposure: 1/1000 sec
aperture: f10.0
ISO speed: 400
focal length: 190 mm

Of the feather shots, this was the first one I saw. It's very interesting. I love the different colors in the shot, and the pink looks so good, specially since that's my favorite color ;) and those pink blotches make the shot look pretty balanced :D

I love the fact that the feather flew there naturally, it wasn’t positioned or anything, it was just a natural thing. That's what makes this shot so special and interesting.

I love the blurred green on the background, and the sharp brown branch against it. It's a very interesting picture. Good Job sweety :smooch:

Great shot Patrick (Pat):D The feather looks so delicate and nice! The blurred surrounding and background adds to the effect as well...

I love those pinks at the bottom of the image. Flowers? The background is great, it really brings the focus to the feather on the branch.

Such lovely colours, and the composition here works so well, the placing of the feather emphasises the importance of it in the shot.

Well done. :)

the back looks as if it's a painting, great great focus. i like the colors in the back that really contrast the actual feather..
